Nicole le Roux spent three months in Kenya working for a non-profit magazine in Nairobi. She spent one week with the Green Belt Movement in Nyeri, Kenya where these photographs were taken.

In an effort to revive traditional practices, these young men welcome us with warrior clothing and dance.	Planting a tree.	School girls help build their new library.
School boys can't wait another minute to read these books!	The women show us their many crops.	In the evening near the house.	Children play while dinner is being prepared.
